Israel Arabs torn between both sides

Israeli Arabs are torn – not because they do not know where to stand between one side and the other, not because they cannot decide which side to support. Because they are anxious about the fate of both sides. They want the best for both sides. They express the common interest of both sides. They are calling for an end to to the bloodshed.

I have a friend who lives in one of the villiges near Nazereth. Some rockets fell 400 meters from hishouse, and the one which fell in Nazareth was 50 meters from his sister’s home. The two children killed were her son’s best friends, with whom he played with on daily basis.

Most arab communities do not have sirens. If the wind is in the right direction, they hear the bomb warnings from the neighboring Jewish towns.
