The peace that could have been in ’67
On June 14, nine days after the war broke out, under the classification “extremely confidential,” the first outline for an arrangement for two states, Israel and Palestine, living side by side peacefully, was written.
Unbelievable. To think of all the bloodshed that could have been avoided. I keep saying that the only viable solution is known to both sides with the day after the war, with a margin of debate of no more than 3%. But I thought I was just being provocative.
